interactions with locals. Lived with a group of international students
for six months.

Planned and organized donations drives and educational seminars
throughout the semester to raise awareness for and teach students on the

May 2019 Worked with the Office of Service Learning and ELS office to plan events
designed to integrate ELS students into Eckerd’s main campus and teach
residential students about diversity. Served as organizer and main
contributor to club events. Connected Eckerd students with other students
abroad to create a network.
VOLUNTEER AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
Oct-Dec Service Learning, Beth-El: Ministry of Hispanic Farm Workers,
2017 Wimauma, FL
Member of a class group that created care packages for farm workers,
cleaned the warehouse and portable buildings, and represented the
Ministry in an open house. Utilized Spanish fluency to talk to native
speakers of the organization as well as the community of Wimauma.
Mar. 2017 Service Learning, Cat Island, Bahamas
Resided and worked in cooperative community to clear, clean, and repair a
home to be used for a multicultural museum. Performed clearance of trees
and plants around perimeter of house, painted the exterior, and cleaned the
interior alongside local Bahamian high school students. Executed beach
clean up.
