Professionally: As a freelance writer and editor, I help businesses communicate their brand through engaging, meaningful, and clear content. I write and edit copy from a unique perspective that combines my experiences in journalism and education. Before becoming a writer and editor, I worked in the education sector--managing degree programs; advising and mentoring students through their academic programs; and teaching literature, English, and career development courses. I have a BA in English and an MS in Education. Personally: I’m a yoga and meditation enthusiast; experimental food engineer who modifies recipes to suit whatever diet I happen to be following (vegan, keto, raw, etc.); voracious reader currently working toward completing my goal of reading 40 books this year (thank you, lockdown!). I’m an all-around positive person who doesn’t pass judgement on others; sees something beautiful in everyone, thing, or situation; and recognizes that everyone, thing, or situation can teach me something. Finally, while technically I’m a citizen of the United States, I like to call myself a global citizen, as I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the world (25 or so countries) for the past three+ years.
