I’m a Marketing professional with my most recent experience as a Marketing Assistant/Analyst at American Express, where I was responsible for (audience) list pull execution and process enhancement of prospect marketing campaign through Direct Mail channel, and delivering outbound marketing campaigns by working closely with cross functional teams such as marketing & communications, acquisition, and risk management. I was also responsible for QA of the campaigns by proofing the coded instructions on our internal tools and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, along with keeping a track report of Direct Mail campaigns expenditure. To summarize my educational background, I graduated with a master’s degree in Marketing Analytics from the University of Alabama where I specialized in courses like Marketing Analytics which gave be a basic introduction to tools such as SPSS, Basic SAS tools and MS Excel to interpret data. I also enrolled in Digital Marketing Social Media Analytics, Global Business Management and Professional Sales courses that broadened my managerial, communication and negotiation skills. As a part of these course structures, I worked on academic projects that involved real time clients and data, and played a marketing consultant role by analyzing trends, identifying target customers and suggesting possible outcomes and improvements for sales, which also involved social media presence. Before enrolling to Masters, I had worked as a Marketing Associate with a healthcare startup in India, where I carried out tasks of client & incubator data collection and management using spreadsheets, networking with potential clients and incubators and building partnerships, managing social media content and website presence of the company. I Also assisted in the recruitment of international interns.
