Artemis, Brooklyn, NY May 2019 to February 2020 Full-lifecycle recruiting for Artemis, whose proprietary Software-as-a-Service Cultivation Management Platform enables owners and managers of large-scale horticulture facilities to reduce risk, scale operations, ensure compliance, manage workers, and achieve greater efficiency and profitability across the entire supply chain—from cultivation to sales. Supported roles that included Sr. Software Engineer, Enterprise Account Executive, UI Developer/Engineer, Product Manager, Enterprise Account Executive, and others. Utilized jazzhr as ATS. All of Artemis' non Sales & Marketing positions, including my own, were eliminated by the board in January 2020 when the firm didn't make its numbers. H.R. chose to eliminate the contract recruiter role and go exclusively with search firms, and my contract with Ansaldo ended in March of 2018. Continuum Managed Services, Cranberry, PA April 2016 to Feb. 2017 Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for this Boston-based Managed Services Provider startup located in Cranberry Township, PA. Supported roles including IT/Infrastructure salespeople, Data Engineer, H.R. Generalist, Instructional Designer, UX Designer, Principal Security Engineer, and many others. The role involved extensive use of LinkedIn Recruiter and social media. Full-lifecycle recruiting responsibilities included collaborating with hiring managers on job description creation, creation and placement of advertising for supported roles, and using search data to properly benchmark compensation for roles in both Pittsburgh and Boston. Utilized iCIMS as ATS. Managed the external search firms we engaged with, and saved the firm $80K in headhunter fees during my tenure. I resigned this position to pursue a higher-level role with System One.    SDLC Partners, Monroeville, PA  May 2011 to June 2012   Sr. Recruiting Consultant on contract to a rapidly growing, 200-person IT consulting firm. Executed full lifecycle Recruiting within the firm's Technology Services, Business Intelligence, and Business Transformation practices. Sourced and placed IT candidates from new graduate through DBA/Sr. Project Manager. Offered and declined conversion to SDLC employee, left the one-year contract at its closure and took on another with BNY Mellon.   TWC Group, Eagleville, PA October 2007 to July 2009    My first engagement as Senior Recruiting Consultant for this 150-person recruiting consulting firm was recruiting Family Nurse Practitioners for Take Care Health Systems (TCHS), a Convenient Care startup. Next, supported permanent IT searches for Horsham, PA's NutriSystem, Inc., and then Baltimore, MD’s ProMetric, Inc., an education/testing software firm.      I then spent a year as Director of Recruiting for Clear Align, LLC, an optical/aerospace manufacturing firm headquartered in Eagleville, PA, executing successful searches for high-level engineering positions that included  Sr. Optical Engineer, Fiber Laser Engineer, and IR/Visible Imaging Assembly Engineer, as well as for lower-level roles throughout the company.        In early 2009, COMSYS purchased TWC and renamed the company TAPFIN Direct Workforce Solutions. I was laid off in the downturn of 2009. My wife elected to do her third and fourth year medical school clinical rotations at Allegheny Hospital, and we relocated to Pittsburgh in June 2010.       Kaiser Permanente, Honolulu, HI Nov. 2004 to August 2007   Senior Corporate Recruiter for the entire Hawaii region, supporting upwards of 200 open positions at any one time, with a primary focus on hardest-to-fill positions such as neighbor island Pharmacists and Cath Lab nurses and techs.
