Accounts Payable Clerk for one of our non-profit clients. The Accounts Payable Specialist would provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. This position is responsible for reconciling, verifying and processing invoices, issuing payments and maintaining vendor files. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Full-cycle, end to end Accounts Payable process including: assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests check accuracy of account coding in coordination with program managers enter invoices into system perform check runs including attachment of all back-up for check signers research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues maintain vendor files assist with month end closing provide supporting documentation for audits Ensures agency credit worthiness by maintaining current condition with vendors while maximizing credit availability. Drive continuous process improvement and assist with automation projects. Education and Experience: 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience An AA degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field is preferred but not required. Take incoming calls from prospects, make outbound phone calls to prospects, and manage record in Salesforce lead tracking system according to department standards. 3. Manage all leads within the designated timeframe on the Salesforce CRM system in order to exceed company standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness. 9. Perform assigned administrative duties as defined by management, including updates and maintenance of appropriate reporting and database systems. Execute effective use of Sales Force Contact Relationship Management ("CRM") system. - Ability to multi-task. Operate computer, Salesforce CRM system, utilize company website and phone system while speaking and collecting information from prospective enrollee. - Excellent phone skills. - Strong understanding of Federal and State regulatory requirements and Marketing Guidelines. - Able to work independently and within a team environment. - Deep and broad understanding of Healthcare products, services and solutions. - Effective listening and critical thinking skills. - Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals. - Demonstrate time management. What you need; - High School Diploma or GED; Associates BA/ BS preferred - One (1) year experience in Sales or Account Management in the insurance industry; Two (2) years experience selling Medicare/ Individual products strongly preferred. Required Licenses and/or Certifications: 1. Current, unrestricted Insurance License in Accident and Health. 2. Successfully complete AHIP national certification test with a 90% score or better. 3. Employment in this position requires a valid state driver's license, and employment is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver's license record check
