The Data Modeler will join one of our scrum teams in order to deliver critical features for our software products. In-scope initiatives include analyzing current data sources and flows; create data models in Hadoop (HDFS, HIVE, Impala) as well as in Oracle to support the use-cases being explored; and work with the development teams to ensure that ETL logic being created results in the correct data sets being populated in the model. Analyze data models after data is there in order to tweak, tune, and improve performance of the same, in each platform, in order to ensure that SQL and other logic results in the highest-performing query results and pulls for each use-case. The Data Modeler will play a major role in ensuring that the development teams know how to organize and build data structures that make sense in a data lake as well as relational data model world. Support in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and UAT Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years of software or systems engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience architecting, configuring, deploying, and supporting iPaaS based data flows. Experience working with Integration Platforms such as Workato, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft etc. Worked extensively with multiple interfaces implementation in Workato. Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements. Knowledge of Implementing Integration projects is a must. Strong working knowledge with SOAP/XML, SQL queries. Strong working knowledge of Data Structure - JSON, CSV and flat files. Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g.MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
