Job Title/Summary Job Title: Plant Operator, Emulsions Terminal Reports to: Plant Foreman Location: Perry, GA Summary Under the general supervision of the Terminal Superintendent, this intermediate level position performs general operator tasks as described below. This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and the associate is charged with the responsibility to perform their assigned tasks in a safe manner. Main Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities ** May be assigned to perform other tasks, as required, including but not limited to the following: Perform Asphalt Emulsion production, including troubleshooting of production operations and formula verification. Perform basic Hot Oil Heater operations including Hot Oil Heater maintenance including maintenance of pumps and pumping devices. Perform all Terminal tasks and activities including fluid transport, vessel storage, and heat exchange operations and procedures and truck and railcar loading and unloading. Perform emulsion lab QC testing procedures such as the Penetration, Sieve, Residue, Viscosity Test and others prescribed by AASHTO and State agencies. Test for all AC products based on AASHTO and State agency requirements, including supporting documentation and reports. Familiarity with product specifications desired but not required. Assist, with supervision, in the operation of the emulsion mill. Conduct basic preventative and specific plant maintenance tasks. eet and maintain production quotas. Demonstrate strong teamwork/ team building skills Build and maintain positive customer service relations Maintains cleanliness and organization of entire facility Performs other duties as assigned Work varying schedules including nights and weekends with little to no notice Must be able to climb railcars and vertical tanks by means of safety ladders Inventory Reconciliation Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. We are a busy 1 doctor small animal and exotic practice that integrates holistic modalities and approach with Western medicine to provide our patients the best options and care. Our hospital offers a full range of state-of-the-art services including surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, in-house laboratory with diagnostic capability, non-invasive stem cell therapy, and class IV laser therapy. We recently added a hydrotherapy swimming pool and underwater treadmill, along with rehabilitation services. We also have a traveling doctor that uses our hospital for chiropractic adjustments and treatments. Qualified candidates will be seeking long-term employment with a desire to build long-lasting relationships with our staff, clients, and their pets. Applicant must be compassionate, self-motivated, and dependable with an eye for attention to detail. The role of the Veterinary Assistant is to serve as an extra set of hands for the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians. Primary responsibilities will include: patient restraint for exams, obtain brief medical history from owners, client communication, enter charges electronically, perform laser therapy treatments, fill prescriptions, stocking exam rooms, cleaning duties, draw up vaccination, administer SQ fluids and injections, laundry, etc... Veterinary Assistants must be capable of: lifting 40 pounds by oneself and able to lift over your head, remain on your feet for the entire work day, learn and perform proper and safe animal restraint, have a flexible schedule, and be computer savvy. Although this is a permanent, part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours per week), we are currently on a modified work schedule (doing curbside drop off appointments) due to COVID-19.
