Position Title: Senior Utilization Management Professional Location: 100% REMOTE/ FLORIDA Duration- 6 Months to HIRE Must be licensed in Florida Standard Hours: 8AM TO 5PM Could eventually work part time later in assignment JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops and manages new enrollee transitions and those involving a change in provider relationships. Develops and implements transition plans, as indicated, to ensure continuity of care. Negotiates and documents single case agreements according to the company P&P's procedures. Reviews planned, in process, or completed health care services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness according to evidence-based criteria. Proposes alternatives when the requested services do not meet medical necessity criteria or are outside the contracted network. As assigned and based on credentials, monitors and reviews specialized requests and treatment records such as Treatment Record Forms. In conjunction with providers and facilities, identifies, develops and monitors discharge plans. Collaborates with the Care Coordination Team to implement support for transitions in care. Facilitates timely sharing of enrollees? clinical information (such as previous treatment, medications, and planned care) in order to promote continuity of care. Provides information to enrollees, providers, and internal staff regarding covered and non-covered benefits, community resources, agency programs, and company policies and procedures and criteria. This role is a long-term contract with our client. Due to COVID the initial period of the engagement will be remote work before moving to onsite when facilities reopen. Onsite work can be based out of Raleigh, NC or Eagan, MN. For candidates who possess 5-9 years of experience, this position will pay an hourly rate of $40-$45/hr. on a W2 basis w/ option of benefits, NO PTO/Holiday, or an annual salary of $75K-$85K on a W2 basis w/ options of Benefits 2 weeks PTO and 2 weeks Holiday, or an hourly rate $50-$55/hr. on a 10-99/CTC basis. For candidates who possess 10 years of experience or more, this position will pay an hourly rate of $50-$55/hr. on a W2 basis w/ option of benefits, NO PTO/Holiday, or an annual salary of $95K-$105K on a W2 basis w/ options of Benefits @ 2 weeks PTO and 2 weeks Holiday, or an hourly rate of $57.50 - $62.50/hr. on a 10-99/CTC basis.
