Duties Reviews case file to ensure readiness of case. Identifies and determines whether preliminary matters exist (i.e. process of service, jurisdiction, and motions). Provides summary of nature of case(s) and disposition(s). Monitors changes in legislation that impact domestic relations cases. Conducts training on Domestic Relations cases for volunteer employees, staff, outside agencies, schools and other interest groups. The DC Courts have employed many measures to keep employees and court users as safe as possible, including mandatory face coverings, social distancing, temperature checks, health screening questionnaire, enhanced air circulation, and intensified cleaning services. Therefore, effective immediately and throughout the remainder of the COVID-19 emergency period, all DC Courts employees, interns, volunteers, and on-site contractors, who have received a vaccination as required by the COVID-19 vaccination protocols, must provide proof of vaccination to Human Resources on the first day of employment. You may seek an exemption from providing a proof of vaccination on the grounds of a specific medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief. All employees who have not received the required number of vaccination doses, regardless of the reason or whether the employee has sought or been granted an exemption, will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test result on a weekly basis in order to report to work in person or remotely. Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Boston is seeking to hire a highly experienced pharmaceutical contracts manager to work remotely for a period of six months with permanent potential in Cambridge, MA. Duties: Partner with our client's existing contracts team to draft and negotiate a high volume of contracts, including services agreements, confidentiality agreements, research agreements, clinical trial agreements, consulting agreements, speaker and ad board agreements, market access agreements, and commercial analytics agreements. Act as a liaison between internal business partners, legal and compliance departments, external vendors and outside counsel as necessary for contract drafting, negotiations, processes and inquiries. Master and seek to continue to improve the internal contracting process, including administering an integrated contracts management system and developing internal training materials related to our client's contracting processes and policies. Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors on contract maintenance, renewals and terminations. Ensure fully executed contracts are properly entered into the contracts management system and update information, as required. Actively help implement and manage contract and document management tools and other technology adopted by the legal department. Help develop and implement new policies, procedures and contract templates and provide education and training to internal clients. Work closely with members of finance and other departments to help ensure compliance with cross-functional policies, procedures and reporting.
