Provides scheduling coverage in staff absence. Provides back up for outpatient scheduling departments performing scheduling maintenance functions as deemed necessary. Coordinates provider schedules (Master schedules, daily templates and clinic closures) for clinics as assigned. May perform other duties as assigned. Communicate/Collaborate with Internal and External Constituents: Notifies the Patient Appointment Center and the scheduling department’s frontline supervisors of scheduling issues. Serves as an intermediary between patients, frontline staff and nursing personnel concerning scheduling concerns and medical needs. Negotiates appointments with patients and other departments. Negotiates schedule changes with providers and communicates changes with staff/supervisors. Explains the scheduling policies to other schedulers as needed through written and oral communications. The Tualatin Hills Nature Center is seeking a part-time Weekend Custodian to keep our beautiful facilities safe and welcoming for the community. The Weekend Custodian performs necessary daily cleaning and sanitation of our public spaces and restrooms at several parks and nature spaces in the Beaverton area. They also provide custodial support for our high-quality programs, rentals, and special events. The Weekend Custodian is an entry-level position, however previous custodial or maintenance experience is preferred. Ideal candidates have a flexible, responsive, self-sufficient work ethic emphasizing independent problem solving and task prioritization. Typical hours include Saturday and Sunday mornings with a minimum of 10 hours to a maximum of 16 hours per weekend year-round. Some evening shifts may be scheduled based on programming needs. Fill-in shifts may occasionally be offered based on availability, and staff may be given the opportunity to work multiple positions within the same classification to a maximum of 29 hours per week. This position travels between four or more locations during the workday; a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation are necessary to perform essential job functions. Drive time is considered work time, and mileage is reimbursed at the Federal rate.
