The Department of Public Works is looking to hire seasonal employees for up to six months. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Experience in one of the following is required) Cleaning and maintaining public areas Collecting and disposing of trash Preparation of recreational areas such as pools, parks, and sports fields General maintenance of facilities Perform related duties and manual labor as assigned Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds Possession of a valid driver’s license Ability to maintain working relationships with co-workers Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Hours & Wage: The starting rate for the position is $13.00 per hour. Work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday.
