Stage Door Reception (Seasonal, mid-May to mid-September)

Duties: Manage the Stage Door reception desk. Serve as a welcome point for backstage staff, visiting touring personnel, and public guests. Answer and route phone calls, sign for deliveries, sort mail, and maintain a visitor log; answer questions and provide directions as needed. Organize and maintain the Stage Door desk; ensure necessary supplies are appropriately stocked. Assist as needed in carrying out of emergency protocols in the event of an emergency, including evacuation and severe weather. Monitor Foundation and NPS radio traffic for relevant information. We’re looking for an awesome, friendly, and passionate Part-Time Beertender to work behind the counter with weekday and weekend availability. PERKS: (1) tasty beer, mead, and cider, (2) lots of cute dogs, (3) beautiful scenery, (4) incredible, local bands. THE JOB: Greet and interact with customers with a warm, inviting, positive attitude. Pour and serve customers farm-fresh beer, mead, and cider and answer any questions they may have in a friendly manner. Operate our POS system, Square, for all transactions. Answer the phone and respond to customer’s questions. Know our complete tap list and effectively communicate it to customers. Teamwork! Works well with other staff members in an environment that encourages strong team collaboration. Open and close the tasting room (making sure everything is sparkly clean for the next day). Maintain a pristine condition of the taproom. Check identification of customers to verify age for purchase of alcohol per ABC requirements. Use suggestive selling techniques to offer beverage and merchandise specials, menu items, and growler fills.
